
Ross 'The Boss' Burkinshaw


Ross 'The Boss' Burkinshaw is the current WBO European and Commonwealth Bantamweight champion originally from the Stocksbridge and Deepcar area of Sheffield, England. 'The Boss' is 28 years old he has been boxing since the age of 8, having his first amateur fight at the age of 11. On the 21st February 2015 at the Octagon Centre in Sheffield, The Boss became WBO European champion after an impressive first round knockout of Belgian Benjamin Smoes. After emphatically defeating Smoes, The Boss is now ranked #8 in the WORLD with the WBO and #11 with the IBF.
'The Boss' is now trained by British Boxing Legend Ryan 'Spice Boy' Rhodes. Promoted by Dennis Hobson and Managed by Krystal Management. Ross is also honoured to have been asked to be Ambassador of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, the Hallam FM's Cash for Kids cause, Balls to Cancer and Sheffield FC 'the World's first football club.'
